Whale Watching in Patagonia (video)

While in Patagonia we visited the Peninsula Valdes to try and find some whales. Peninsula Valdes is the location of the famous scene in which Orca whales hurl themselves up the beach in pursuit of baby seals but unfortunately we were not there in the right season to see this. We were able to see the endangered Souther Right Whale as the waters around Puerto Madryn are a fertile breeding ground where the whales come every year to reproduce. This video was filmed off the beach at Playa Cantera and at Puerto Piramides.
